All Hydro-Seal moisture-mitigation products resist microbial growth, are free of VOC's, are not epoxy, exhibit bond strengths up to 300% stronger than standard flooring adhesives and performance-warranted for five (5) years.

You can do this!  Hydro-Seal Primer and Membrane vapor retarders allow for same day installation.  A certified installer is not required.

Combining Hydro-Seal adhesives with Hydro-Seal Primer or Membrane vapor retarders gives a five (5) year performance-warranted moisture-resistance from 8 to 12 pounds moisture-vapor-emission-rate (MVER) per thousand square feet per 24 hours, a pH from 10 to 12 and 85% in situ relative humidity per ASTM F1869, F710 and F2170.  A minimum 0.3 perm vapor retarder must exist sub-slab for reliable MVER data.

Floor Moisture - Mitigation System  The Hydro-Seal floor moisture-mitigation system includes flooring adhesives, Primer and Membrane vapor retarders engineered to achieve five-year (5) warranted moisture resistance to 12 pounds moisture-vapor-emissions-rate (MVER).

Hydro-Seal is the only complete floor moisture-mitigation system to be third party certified by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS)* and Floorscore* as low-emitting materials suitable for use in school and hospital environments and qualifies LEED.

Respirator to limit fume exposure, a weighted T-bar and small bottles of membrane.  We've had the HVAC on and created a dust-free controlled environment...Using even a small bottle with a makeshift squirt top works great. Punched a hole in the top of a Gatorade bottle...Applying first coat to a damp concrete appearance...I don't need no stinking mask!  I like the smell of victory against moisture...Apply only about 500sf at a time.  This will limit contamination and insure we keep controll of the area. This floor will dry sufficient to walk on in 1hr...Begin a second coat to hit light areas...Finished results.  Should be ready for glue in an hour.  All gloss areas are brushed out and we didn't have to come back with a sander...Doesn't look like enough but it is.  Heavy areas will dry from sticky to a slight grabby state.  This is OK to bond to and should be considered dry...Membrane penetrates, polymerizes, hardens and reduces porosity...Concrete now has a surface that will restrict MVER within the performance tolerance of the adhesive...Time for adhesive. We will check flash time over the Membrane so that proper timming is allowed for laying tile and moving on to another section.
